What we do and why we do it.

R-Rated Religion is dedicated to the proclamation of the good news of God’s Kingdom here on earth; “The time is [fulfilled], and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel” (Mark 1:15 ESV).  This includes the full message and ministry of Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior: “Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him'” (John 14:6-7). Furthermore, we provide sound biblical doctrine from Genesis to Revelation as the inerrant word of God given to mankind, through God, by divine providence; “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

In addition, we call out bogus teachers, fraudulent doctrine, false prophets, inaccurate hermeneutics, and evil purveyors of the truth (Philippians 3:2). We do this with a kind heart by speaking the truth in love and temperance (Ephesians 4:15). R-Rated Religion was created to gel academically sound study with a practical application of its interpretation. In so doing, we attempt to bring sound biblical principles into a pragmatic way of living the Christian life in the modern age.

We also weigh in on cultural, political, and religious organizations and their leadership; holding them accountable and answerable to the authority of God’s word. It is in this arena, that we take a strong stand by fighting the secular world of self-indulgence, pride, and treachery with the philosophical principles of truth.

Each week we post an “original” article tackling hard theological topics that relate to the aforementioned subjects. Check these out under our Postulate This page. Find out more about us under Gestalt and Theological Foundations. We have a whole page dedicated to humor but we warn people of an overtly pious nature to proceed with caution. Our commentaries give a theological and philosophical narration on other forms of published media where germane biblical exposition is warranted.

In all that we do, we do for the Glory of God and His eternal Kingdom; “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31).
