This is a very interesting podcast. Jason Whitlock is a accomplished journalist and his views on faith, family, and sports is worth taking note. He makes a series of excellent point but one especially should be highlighted, particularly about cowardice. Cowardice is not a biblical virtue. Nowhere in the Bible does it extoll the virtue of cowardly thought and action. In fact, in the Old Testament, God punishes the Hebrews for their cowardice after they scout the land of Canaan. Christians are taught to be humble, peaceful, and meek, never cowardly. This is a portent example of where society is heading concerning our athletes and their state of mind.
"Have I then become your enemy by telling you the truth?" (Galatians 4:16) Exposing truth hidden in a dark malaise of social conscience, injustice, and hypocrisy, brought on by the disheveled charlatans of modern leadership and secular religions.
